Pictures to come

edit: I'm in Lincoln right now, heading back to New Braunfels tomorrow

Here's a picture of us landing in Sidnaw, Michigan (On the UP)

That was 82 miles south of Great Bend, Kansas on the way to Lincoln.

That's my CFI for the trip, right before I got my first IMC. I told him I was nervous and he said "If I was nervous would I be eating this cinnabun?"

Climbing above the clouds after I had enough cloud flying for one day.

The flooded Missouri river near Omaha

What was a farm

No troubles getting out of a 2600' grass strip with 3 people and gear.

We were lucky we had enough cell signal so we couldp ick up IFR clearance on the ground

Some 4-wheelin' fun in Michigan

Here's everyone from the fly-in.

They made me an honorary "Yooper" for wearing shorts, flip-flops, and a fishing shirt when it was 55 degrees outside and everyone else was wearing coats

We filed 12,000 back to New Braunfels just so we could hear "Skyhawk 1161F clear Direct New Braunfels climb and maintain 1-2-Thousand as filed"
