Russian jet carrying hockey team crashes

Sad day for hockey fans.

"TUNOSHNA, Russia (AP) — A Russian jet carrying a top ice hockey team crashed into a river bank Wednesday while taking off in western Russia, killing at least 43 people and leaving two others critically injured, officials said."

They are not sure how many from the team were on board. One player and a crew member survived.

From the pics I find it amazing anyone survived.

Another, Brad McCrimmon, was a Red Wings assistant coach and NHL veteran who played for Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit, Calgary, Hartford and Phoenix.

Very terrible.

Lokomotiv and Dynamo to play in Minsk.  Entire team now lost in sad event.
