I like your creative approach in distinguishing your bare metal finish vs paint. On your updated pictures, the fuselage looks pretty dark. It might be with the weathering you put on it. I would lighten up the weathering so it brings out more of the metal shine and reflection. In addition to this, you could sneak a few marks of light dirt, or dried mud around the wingroots on the fuselage instead. Just food for thought.
