I agree with the OP's initial premise...

The threads in this boot as of late seem to try fix something that is NOT broken

Be wary the law of unintended consequence

The economy bites and is in the tank...and that is 90% of it

Nobody here can fix that

Carry on with great caution if you decide to "change" FSO...

That's just me

What we need is some positive encouragement for those who put thier virtual lives into danger.

For the Allied team:

For the Axis team:

FSO Team Spirit is here at last.  That's what I call action. :devil

Its a matter of getting other squads to join - not individuals.  I have only participated in one, but having read the long list of rules and regulations, it is clear that the primary structure is at a squad level.  So if the problem is activity, then the solution is to recruit squads.

Mind you, it is only recently I learned that you can join squads for different parts of the game (MA, AvA, etc) and perhaps that is where some good recruitment can be done - if there are leaders to form them of course.

Overall, I think FSO is a gem in AH as well as in online-gaming as a whole and hope to participate as often as I am in developed countries (I move around a lot).

True, but it's easier to invite individuals to fly as a guest in an FSO squad. If they have fun, they'll tell their squaddies. There have been more than one (I know of one for sure  ;)) FSO squad that started with an individual flying as a guest and eventually more squaddies came in as guests and finally broke into their very own FSO squad.
