If you want we can go to the DA and reproduce the damage there. One will fly straight and the other will shoot only at the right target.

ok, I'm at work now, but tonight we could try that.

Ok, machfly and I tested it. Mach thanks btw.

Anyway, as HTC stated, they didn't model the rad fluid weight.  I don't know why I saw different weights earlier I must have done something different.

6686 :Radiator + no drop tank mount
6796 :Radiator + drop tank mount
6796 :Radiator damaged + drop tank mount

All these tests were done with no fuel and no ammo. We did discover some strange damage issues. I believe machfly will post the video, but basically when we were trying to hit the radiator and/or the fuel, we would 'hit the pilot' even if the impact was clearly behind the pilot's seat.

We do not have any weight loss due to damages.

Things that you may have missed.

1. Were you manually selecting tanks?

2. Was a gun damaged?

HiTech

HE did not just go there in a luftvhiner thread, or did he?   :uhoh :bolt:

Same for most plane models I think (particularly older ones), anything within the general vicinity of the cockpit has a chance to wound or kill the pilot.  Simillar would be an instance I can recall while playing last night, I lobbed a 30mm HE shell into an enemy spit's tail assembly and was certain it'd be the last shot the spit would need to be taken down - but nope, it only completely removed the left horzontal stabilizer on the tail.  The random number generators weren't rolling in my favor last night.  I dislike the modeling in my Dora's aft fuselage section often at times as well for a very similar reason, behind the cockpit there's a "line" somewhere where all hits to the aft of it have a chance of completely severing the tail assembly, and then all hits infront of this imaginary line have a good to decent chance of wounding or killing the pilot (edit: also the aft fuel cell is tucked up and under the pilot back there as well, it's a real hotspot for the random numbers that get generated to do their work in) - in a nutshell, basicly if you're skilled/lucky enough to get some shots into the broadside of a dora's aft fuselage, then *ka-ching* more often than not.

They automaticly close and are removed from the private server list after X amount of time has expired without the arena seeing any activity/use.
