I'm sorry there was a similar thread which was removed. I'm genuinely confused?

http://www.foxnews.com/health/2011/09/19/us-gamers-crack-puzzle-in-aids-research-that-stumped-scientists-for-years/

There are various news stories on this. How is it a contravention of rule 14?

It's not political?

What am I missing?

Maybe because of where the link came from? I don't know. I am confused why the other was blocked. Science isn't forbidden by the rules.  :headscratch:

Scuzzy, if you lock this, could you at least post why it is breaking the rules, so we could learn from our mistakes?

I think its because i put that little comment about congress and gaming laws in there. prob got locked because that could be looked at as political.

Would of been nice tho if Skuzzy had just msged me or something telling me that it was a prob. would of just erased it. Instead of having my topic locked.

Reminds me of BOINC, except with actual work involved.

They did in days what scientists couldn't do in years. But the geeks still can't figure out how to go out and get laid!

Or perhaps they get so much from pity alone they like to keep up the facade.

Ehh, maybe not.
