perhaps move the selection to the same window the gunsight is selected.

how often do you change gunsights? that's more of a set and forget setting. all in all, the hangar would be the best place for tracer selection. the least amount of coding would be apply to all rather than per plane.

gyrenen we already have the apply tracers to all on/off.  they want a per plane choice.  I personally never fly with tracers off, but it seems like a reasonable request.

the point was, least amount of effort would be to relocate the existing on/off option to the hangar rather than where it currently resides just so it's easier to turn off/on while you're choosing a plane in the hangar.

I understood what you said, but this wish has been around for a while.  they want on a check box per plane, just like you would select a certain skin/sight for each airplane.  reasoning for that is some people fly some planes with it on and off on others.  and they want to select that option and leave it permanently, just like skins and gunsights and not having to click a box before every flight.

as for the least amount of effort, we not really sure how hitech has the game coaded.  so saying this or that will be simpler might not be accurate.

me personally I always fly with tracers on. so this wish granted or not wont be used by me.  but it seems a reasonable request.    :salute  :bolt:.

You guys are over-thinking it.

Keep the current tracer-selection as is, but make it 'secondary'.

Add another plane-specific tracer check-box to the hangar. Have this a 'master' control that
overrides the 'default' for whatever setting you want. Perhaps three options to check - 'tracers... on, off, default'.

Easy 'nuff.
