I'm curious what problem this proposal seeks to fix.

I think threads like this:

http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,321246.msg4188438.html#msg4188438

 :rofl

when they start going at each other it's either annoying or entertaining.

My wish is that the amount of post your aloud per day be tied to your subscription.

IE: no subscription to game then your limited to say 3 post per day ,I wouldn't want to see it so you had to subscribe to post but I think there needs to be a reasonable limit in place. This would make some posters think twice before they post!

Of course if you are a player with an account I don't think you need your posts limited but there are exceptions!

PS: I have the asbestos underwear on so flame away!

Well, I think that if your posts have such poor spelling and grammar as shown above, then one should not be allowed to post as frequently as if one had near-perfect posts.

By the way, green text shows poor grammar, and red shows spelling errors.

Well,I realize your still in school and can use proper english and I suppose your spelling would be better than mine too.

I never knew it was a requirement on the internet,am I being graded?  Did I pass?   Good thing I'm not worried about this as I'm well past caring about marks or grades or even what I'm going to do when I grow up!

disgusting comment rigth there.
what about not beeing able to post if you show yourself as non deserver of respect at all? my point is, let whoever that wants to post just do it, no need to pay per post or limit just because you don't agree with some kind of posts. anyway sorry about the sarcasm, just wanted to show the point.

why not just reserve certain parts of the BB for paying subcribers and have a section open to whomever. Personallly I don't care since the BB seems to be the same few narcissists comparing manhood most of the time.

I didn't say it was a requirement. I was simply hinting at the availability of spell-check, and how, if one is not going to use it, then one should type correctly.

Also, I was not referring solely to you. I really meant a large number of people who are on this forum. Personally, if you would like to show how you show very little regard for your native language (just an assumption, that is) that you have, I cuoldn't care less. :) No problem with that. I was simply pointing out the fact that, unless something is grammatically correct, and has perfect spelling, then I would most certainly not trust that the idea/thought that you've just had is worth taking seriously.

Nothing personal!

:)

I disagree with your last line of your post I quoted, Moriend,

I TOO get PO'ed at how certian individuals do not use the rules for posting on these forums, that is listed /sticky'ed at the top of every forum

I also do a lot of "Report to moderator"  clicks and post my reasoning for the reporting that particular user

I have requested several times that once a person registers  to play online that that player also had to register to the Ah messageboards and have their gameid sync'ed up to their messageboard username, even if the 2 are not the same..........

it makes the new player aware of the messageboards, instead of them finally stumbling across them 2 or 3 years later, for one thing!

and another would be that it helps others who might know who a player is online but don't know it is the same person on the messageboards  or vice versa

there are a few other things this could help but my mind is drawing a blank right this moment........... I have requested this several times though....

edit: and I also like the reputation  + -  suggestion......  to use on replies like #18 of this thread......

you didn't have anything positive to add so you post a rollseyes  emoticon,  how mature of you

Partially... The boards have to be fun and entertaining.

If you want stricter controls try the Catholic boards.  :neener:

How will connecting the forum username to AH username make the forum not entertaining?
The only thing that will change is you'll actually know who the person is.

Matching names is included in the partially. :)

There was nothing wrong with posting a roll eyes. The boards even have emoticons included.
