Guadalcanal Map

American forces are behind the eight-ball!
They need to take the next two frames to win the campain.
If the Japenese can take just one more frame, victory is theirs!

Note Change:  For frames #7 and #8 ordnance will be enabled on fighters.

Waiting on the runway.

Launch!

Heading out.

Bandits spotted!  Oops! (Kids, this is why you don't dive @ 575mph in a Frank)

Enemy engaged!

Pressing the attack.

Our base has been hit!

Crossing paths.

They won't give up.

Canopy to canopy.

~ While our fighters were defending our base, two brave pilots attack the American fleet. ~

Into the maelstrom.

Final seconds.
(although Kten78 was shot down, it allowed Boom78 to launch a successful torpedo attack)

Campaign Victory!
Japan Holds Guadalcanal.

A big salute to "The Avengers" who fought a hard fight for the island!

It was a great time guys, I really thought we were winning the round point wise, until that darned torpedo bumped into our destroyer; nice shot by the way!  We will be in the main tomorrow night for some squad sorties, at around 7 PM Central Time, y'all drop in.
