british tanks please
« on: October 07, 2011, 09:24:16 PM »
I think the new M-18 will add a new dimension to the game, but instead of the already numerous american rides the game has i think we need more from other countries...we dont have any british tanks or TD's...tanks.......cromwell or comet would be nice...matilda for early and mid war.   archer for  TD

Isn't Firefly a British version of the M4?

Yes the firefly was technically a British tank. It may seem american, but is was used in British Regiments during the Hochwald Gap. And also the Cromwell for a 75mm howitzer!

theres this thing called BBS lag, and you upping your post count.

but whats really needed here is another russian tank, we have 2. yes count it, 2. the T34/76 and the T34/85 just wont cut it. id much like to see the KV-1S and the SU-100 so we at least have a somewhat evened out tankset.

Best bet for a British tank would be either the Valentine with both the 2 Pdr and 6 Pdr turrets available (EW/MW), or the Cromwell with both the 6 Pdr and 75mm guns available (LW).

Otherwise... the British do not have much to really offer AH in terms of tanks that already is not available (M4/75mm and Firefly).

it wasn't "BBS lag". If it was, then machfly's quote would of been in both posts, instead of one. Derp. Also, the date on the 2 posts are too far apart to be simply BBS lag.

Nich doesnt really know how to modify his messages, So he most likely typed that first thing up.Posted it, saw he didn't quote the person he wanted to, then made another post by just copy&pasting what his original msg was, in the new post with the quote.

Why do you always cry "post count"?

Nich, to avoid all that, just simply hit "Modify" by your post, and it will let you correct anything you wish too. :aok
