Ladder Arena
« on: October 15, 2011, 07:59:25 PM »
I was thinking it would be cool to have an arena that has bases that cost perk points to use, spaced out to make it difficult to interact with the other fields. So as you gain kills you can move up the ladder to a higher level field and as you get killed or captured your perk points would go down, and should you fall below zero you are set back to the next lowest level field. And to mix it up the time (early-late war) and theater could change weekly or so.

Just a thought

I think I understand what you are saying, the idea has promise, but it is still also very confusing.

Not a bad idea methinks. Me also thinks that one might be able to set up a custom arena that way, but me not sure if plane ENY or cost can be changed in a custom arena...

I guess an easy way for it to be done would be to tie it to the kill/death ratio. Yeah I see no way to do it with custom arenas.

The thing is it would be great for everyone, the aces out there.. and there are allot of them... will be flying for the most part against each other, going for the top tier, all the not so great fliers (me) would be match our fighter skills , mostly, against those that  are in our own skill range. Seems like a great way to hone your skills.
