M3 Halftrack

How about a new M3 skin?  I found a pic of the repainted "Commando Yank". Active in North Africa in 1943.

I think the response on the M3 skins was they were waiting on the M3 to be updated.  As is, there were problems with getting stuff to show up properly, either being distorted or just, for lack of a better word, wrong.  Only the skinners could say what the real reason is.  Do correct me if I'm wrong though. :aok

But on a side not, I do agree.  I would like to see skins for the M3, M16 and the M8.  Even the Jeep could probably get a skin.  Can't leave out the Wirble and Ost either. ;)

I have looked at the M3 and M8.. I am not going to touch them until they are updated.  The Panzer IV and Tiger were bad enough.

I took a look at the M3 and Greebo was right, that thing would be a customizer's nightmare.  The panels are warped.  There is a reason one on has made a custom skin for it.   ;)  It needs to be completely re-modeled.  Once it is feasible to make skins for it, I'm sure there will be a whole host of them made.  Just look at the C-47.

A bit of a bump, but I think this one is justified.  With the M3 being updated, I can only imagine what other skin possibilities exist for the M3.

So TUK, looks like this request of yours will come to fruition. :aok

I'm actually starting to collect different pictures of the various M3's.  Most of what I am finding is coming out of North Africa.  I've found a really neat looking mixed olive drab/khaki troops transport with minimal markings on it.  I'm not even sure which unit it came from.
