impossible is nothing.
also if it comes up to a point where we figure out how, why not have the option? people would not MAKE you use it and also it would not give you any unfair advantage... the other way around actually, like in counter strike:GO where silly console players will be up against PC gamers  :devil

while I doubt one could be effective in aces high, its actually quite easy to fly on an iphone in something like xplane, you tilt the device to and fro and side to side, with slider on one side of the screen for throttle, etc.

:headscratch:

So you have no idea how your idea would work? I'll tell you why you don't know, because it's impossible.

There is a reason why real airplanes have a stick, throttle, and pedals, we don't fly around pushing buttons on the screen.

There are many possibilities.  One would be controlling your aeroplane by tilting and rotating the iPad similar to how Xplane or similar flight sims do it.  There could be a thumbspot on the screen that when held down would switch to views by tilting and rotating.  It would take some thought but is certainly doable.  Some may even prefer it similar to how some prefer using a mouse to fly vs a joystick.  :)

But you would never use it because you are always on the computer.

then he would be on more and could get 2000 deaths instead of the current 1500 per month just on his pc    :bolt:

I would use it when not on the computer.

But Midway! You're always on the computer!  ;)

You would not be able to look to the side, turn, and change your power setting as the same time. Technically it would be possible to make something like this but everyone flying from an ipad would look & fly extremely retarded because they can do only one thing at a time, flying is about multitasking.

The game can't progress past directx 9 because
the xp users would all have to upgrade. You want this
on an apple iPad? People in hell want ice water too.

its never gonna happen so if i were you id just stop thinking about it  ;)
If your gonna fail, do it in such a way that people will be wondering how you managed to do that.

If it cant be fixed with duct tape, it cant be fixed at all.
