Droop Snoot
« on: October 15, 2011, 05:58:33 AM »
Thanks for the Droop Snoot flight, Angel Eyes.  :salute

I watched the film. I wanted to see if I was really bouncing up and down that much trying to stay in formation. it wasn't as bad as I thought.

I would like to try that again sometime, with the B25 strafers.

Makes me wonder what could be done with 4 P38s and 4 flights of strafers, or big bombers?  :headscratch:

A while back several of us upped some P-38's with bombs and formed up on a B-25C that Beefcake was flying and dropped over the town on his lead and most of us actually hit something. :)

Mosquito Mk XVI makes a nice stand in for a Droop Snoot due to performance matching the P-38J or L.

Thanks for the feedback.  :salute

Angel Eyes got a FH & I went for the radar as soon as I toggled my 2 -1000s. It worked out ok.

I'll be looking for the opportunity to try it again.  :old:

I haven't seen Angl in a while, not for at least a month before I went on 'vacation' from AH. Next time you see him, tell him Jager says hi.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

I usually fly for 2-3 hours, after work, generally starting around 11pm, Arizona time.  :old:
