Right.    You realize the "gift walk" would have been three outs, right?   Because he sure as hell went around.

Detroit has some gutsy players.  That catcher Avila is one bad mofo to take the beating he has and keep on keeping on.

<S> Detroit

That was a fun and nerve wracking series.

Now somebody shoot Holland please..

Trust me rpm.. for the Rangers to suck me in to watching baseball it had to be a good series.  That was fun to watch and Detroit was a worthy adversary.

Austin Jackson did the Tigers far more damage than a walk in this game.
He missed a rolling ball in center and ran over his left fielder causing him to drop the ball after that. In fact his problems started in game one.

I'm not knocking the kid, but he had a terrible series and I really felt bad for him.
The Tigers/Rangers series was extremely exciting and entertaining to me even when Texas lost.
Detroit has a hell of a team with some great guys that did their city proud. The night and the series however belonged to Texas

Go Rangers!

same here man.  Baseball is like nascar to me.  The only difference between the 2 is that in nascar they go in circles, in baseball they hit the ball and someone catches it.  The postseason/world series is always good though.

Congrats on your Rangers.  Wish the last game was a bit closer even if the Tigers still had lost.  However, at least I don't have to be angry anymore like I was through the whole series at the Fox commentators.  Sheeesh, who do you think they were rooting for?  The part at the end of the 6th inning when Detroit brought it back to a 5 run lead and they cross off the promo about game 7 was just plain rude and inconsiderate for Tigers fans and very unprofessional.  The game wasn't over yet even if it did seem out of reach.  Again, congrats to the Rangers fans!
