Sounds

Is there a way to stop the sound of other things from getting quieter when someone keys up on range channel? I like the mod they did where the range channel does sound clear but when someone gets on range and all the other sounds turn down in volume I think "maybe there's a way to stop this from happening and I just don't know it yet". It's probably one of the most annoying things about the game just under getting disconnected hehehe. Please help, my hearing is bad enough as it is.

there's a settings option next toMike volume that's causes that, just adjust it.

options > voice > playback effects volume...move it to the left and the sounds won't dim quite so bad.

Yeah I can hear the engine as the plane flies, I hit the guns and the engine sound dims out and then slowly I hear the engine sound get louder again. Hear all sounds and then someone will talk and the whole game sound dims out and slowly comes back. Sometimes the engine sound isn't there when I first start up on the runway until I go to the clipboard and test the sound too. Thanks for the replies fellas.

Check this: http://www.mydigitallife.info/adjust-volume-level-when-place-or-receive-telephone-calls-in-windows-7/

Maybe your windows is handling the audio somehow as a 'call'. Long shot but won't take much time to untick.
