LOL....
In high school, I straightened the pedal crank and cut it short for footrests on a bigwheel and we used to tow them using a water ski rope with a car.
Very quickly, we found out that using the rope as designed was far better than tying it to the bigwheel.
We also found a graphite lube worked best since some oils would soften up the wheels.
Nobody died.
