I asked my niece to explain dubstep to me..

"it's like what people say about pron...you can't explain it..but you know when you see it".

I'm having a talk with her father this week.  ;)

It's basically slow Drum & Bass, just more annoying. I use to play DNB many many years ago in dark dirty warehouses and the occasional club that was cool with it.

So a few people commented on my film about trance and I began to wonder how many of you listen to Trance, House, DnB or Dubstep. If you do what are you listening to? Ill start it off with a couple I have listened to lately and liked.

Sasha - Cut Me Down (Kastis Torrau & Donatello feat. Arnas D. Remix)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcO0aJhS52E&list=LLYyKfKP9bwQh3DYyJC4KIuA&index=6

Porter Robinson - Unison (Knife Party Remix)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2GSyQBdeEQ&list=LLYyKfKP9bwQh3DYyJC4KIuA&index=13

This really doesnt fall into any of those but the video alone is worth watching trust me.

If you are into podcasts Trance Around the World with Above and Beyond is a good weekly one.

Thats some nice music mate, thanks for posting.

I heard some trance music with bagpipes mixed in and it was getting the job done.  I wish I knew who it was, I'd buy it.

Anyone have any idea who it might have been???

It's basically slow Drum & Bass, just more annoying. I use to play DNB many many years ago in dark dirty warehouses and the occasional club that was cool with it.

There's d&b and d&b. The old school stuff is dark and I don't like it. Then there's the new melodic d&b like Danny Byrd, London Elektricity, Netsky, Unquote etc. I like especially the Byrdman.
