@ Peyton -  The G.55 looks almost identical to the C.205.   The both had derivatives of the same Mercedes-Benz DB605 engine and they had a very similar airframe.  I understand that the G.55 was much better at high altitude than the C.205, but the vast majority of AH combat is at low to medium altitudes.   -Just thoughts - We can all make our own choices.    I agree with you that the SM79 would be a great addition, but not until I get my He111...
