Lancaster Update
« on: October 13, 2011, 11:44:10 PM »
The Lanc looks pretty rough compared to some of the newer models. It gets plenty of play and could probably use an update. The cockpit is pretty bad. I guess the quality of the Tiffy and Mossy spoil me a bit.

Nobody knows but them, man.

Perhaps they lack the proper amount of data for an update to the new standard.

The Tempest is substantially different from the Tiffy.

This was not a bomb that leveled everthing from a massive blast across the top of the land scape that left a crater. It was a bomb that buried it's self deep underground & caused effectively an earthquake that shook everything with it's massive ground upheaval from it's camouflet .

Since we have nothing below grade in AHII how would this bomb even work with the current modeling?

The order of the updates should go by engine shape. First update the hexagon engines, then the octagons, and so on and so forth.

Best bet is to choose which planes to update first by how much it gets used in the game. That way the game looks better sooner for more players. Out of Karnak's list I reckon the Hurricanes and Lancaster get used the most, followed by the 110 and B-26. That's just my opinion based on what I see in the MA though.

I would take a wager that the only thing we wont %100 for sure be seeing WWII-wise in AH is the nuke.  Otherwise,.... .....  ;)

No doubt! I feel as though the Yak, and especially the C.205 will see more usage when updated to the current model, though.
