Hot Mic Question
« on: October 21, 2011, 01:36:43 PM »
After a fresh reload of W7, my desktop mic is always hot, i.e., get voice feed back through the speakers without keying up anything to transmit.  The mic is plugged into the "mic" plug in the front of the computer.  In game vox works as advertised in range, channel, and Team Speak.  Any ideas why it's like this and how to remedy? Thanks!

Need to make sure your settings look like this:

To get there: Right-click the Volume in the Taskbar, hit Recording Devices, Select your primary, hit Properties, Select the Listen tab.
If "Listen to this device" is on it will constantly transmit.

Hope that helps somewhat, or fixes it. :)
