Motherboard Selection

Going to start my first "from scratch" build and wanted to get some feedback on this motherboard?

I am going to be using the i5 2500K

and I have a set list of all the other parts, was just on the fence with the Motherboard decision. I know it shows the Motherboard out of stock on Newegg but I will be picking it up locally. I am pretty sure I have my mind set on a P67 board, but there maybe something I am missing.

the Z68 chipset is newer i believe, I have also read somewhere i believe on here, that it is also easier to overclock. not sure if you will be doing and OCing, but if you are and I am correct on the Z68 being newer, I would see if you can pick upa Z68 board.

Spend $20 and get the Extreme4 Gen3. You get PCI3 slots for a bit of future proofing. Also the Gen3 has B3 as do all newer h/p/z boards. I also have this MB and it over clocks without a sweat. MasonZ is thinking about the h67 boards.

Yeah I was looking at that one as well, was on the fence as the PCI 3.0 is not accessible (at least from what I have read) until the Ivy Bridge Processors come out, but like most everyone has said go ahead and future proof it for now. I appreciate everyone's responses so far, I will take a look at the other motherboards that were posted.
