Film Recorder Onscreen 'R'
« on: October 23, 2011, 10:14:21 AM »
My wish is that we can either toggle the 'R' on/off when recording film, or have some other indicator (like a cockpit light). For making movies, it kind of ruins it for me when I'm recording for the film viewer (so I can set up shots, etc.) and at the same time recording with Fraps to include some real-time "as it's happening" in-cockpit footage to add to the final movie. The Fraps real-time shot will show the big red 'R' in the upper-left corner and it annoys me.
My Current Rig:

Intel i7 5820k, Win7 64-bit
NVidia GTX 970 4Gb ACX 2.0
Track IR, CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Pedals

How about make the "R" appear in the text box and then we'll have the ability to change the brightens and the size (just like all the other text)?

I like RT's "guncam light" idea.
