weirdest thing
« on: October 23, 2011, 07:12:55 PM »
so here I am grabbing to protect cv 181 when i notice it flashing, the NOE run of lancs rang our CV by mistake! they procede to turn N.E. to 127 I calll them out on team channel .
then I notice they have a c-47 in tow, someone watched rolex's bombing film :aok I roll my p-47M in on the troopship and at 4 k or so I get kicked to desktop and AH is off.
no warning. no AH exe. has stopped working, nothing. now I have heard rumors that people that gun for you can steal your I.P. and at a later date bounce it with so much info it shuts down :noid is this B.S. or should I limit the people that gun for me,or should I get off the paranoid tripout and flyon?

That last thing. If they don't know who you are, how would they be able to "kill" your connection.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

Never let anyone gun for you!!  they drink all your beer and if you should need to use the first aid kit you'll be all out of meds!.....

One day I'm gonna do a thread on AG urban myths, hmmm Fugi that should be enough cartoon ideas to last a year or so. :aok

Most time you disco from the game it's 1 of 2 many causes, first your ISP routing has lost too many packets or the oh so common updating something on your comp in the background. If you CPU cant keep up with game and update at same time then you'll be kicked to destop.

Someone gunning for my B-26 somehow got at the minifridge next to my computer, and took all my beer, chips, soda, and assorted snacks  :noid.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

not in this game but in bad company 2 i know if you invite randoms in your squad they can steal your IP or worse upload bad stuff to your computer... might be the same thing here
only a moron would use Dolby positioning in a game.

there was a large solar flare that night, and the excessive electrons and cosmic rays, cause a small Arrhythmia in the sequential flow of the computer bus and overloaded the ram, causing you to be booted to the desktop. cover your computer and mouse in aluminum foil and this should prevent further extra-terrestrial interference. i hope this helps!

I was forced to land once and was ticketed because the tail gunner was mooning passersby.

What you describe won't happen. If you lose connection it'll try to go to TCP. Your game just crashed, not your connection.
