support users is a real job
Yeah no kidding! I belong to a website where I get paid to help people out with automotive problems. I get some real funny stuff sometimes. One guy tore his wiring all apart - even going so far as to remove and disassemble his fuse box because he had no power after installing a new battery. Ended up he left the plastic caps installed over the battery contacts and somehow managed to force his terminals over them.
When I suggested that maybe something was wrong with the new battery or that somehow he installed it incorrectly he got all angry with me "I know how to put in a battery!!!" I honestly thought he had put the terminals on backwards. He's lucky that wasn't the case.
He even reported me to the website claiming I was giving bad advice.
Funny thing is that a few weeks later - once he figured out what had happened he retracted his complaint, issued an apology to me and then left me a healthy tip on top of the normal fees! He ended up being a stand-up guy after all!!!
