Very Minor Request / Attitude Lock

I'd like to be able to hit a key to maintain an aircraft's attitude before I enter a gunner position.

For instance, in a Stuka, I'd like to be able to put the plane into a turn, lock the attitude, and then enter the rear gun position without the plane assuming perfectly level flight.  Just hit the key again and this attitude lock would be gone.

Why lock it then when you can continue to turn?

Use the "rudder".

I don't understand.  When I enter the rear gunner position, the plane assumes an entirely "dead-level" attitude.  There is no way for me to control the rudder while in the rear gunner position.   I want to be able to put the plane into a gentle turn, maybe with some rudder, then lock that while I jump in the back.   Right now, you can't gun from the back of a 110 without the plane flying absolutely straight and level.

The rudder controls should still work while you are in the gunner position.  Works for me anyways.  You can also control the pitch of your aircraft, using the .speed command, while gunning.

And you can pitch to the attitude you want, and type SHIFT X to hold it there. From there, I don't believe yawing will break the auto pilot, so you can rudder left and right while climbing.

 Actually if you use rudder inputs it will kick off auto angle! Use the dot speed command,set to around 150/175 depending on your speed and it will pitch up and you can use rudder to control your turn.
