then i'll be happy with either of the other two choices because they are fighter aircraft.

I will say that this poll seems to have generated a lot more heat than prior polls.  I am curious as to why.  Certainly the Meteor is controversial, but I also see a lot of heat between the Beaufighter and Me410 fans as well as people saying that the only fighters on the round 1 poll were the Ki-43, Meteor and Yak-3.  I wonder if the contention between the Beaufighter and Me410 backers has anything to do with a feeling that this was their best shot because there was not a clear winner such as the B-25, P-39, B-29 or A-26 in round 1 and they got their hopes up?

That does not compute.  The final round would only have two aircraft, what you claim is one of the two the community wants and the latest and greatest.  If your claim were true the community would unite behind the surviving one they want.  Last poll ended up about 60% for the B-29 and 40% for the Me410.

Keep in mind that the in game community is very different than the BBS community.

I am speaking of those wanting to fill holes in scenario gapsets, If only one of the 2 had been in the initial
polling that one would stand a much better chance.

Of course, but one will continue on.  Do the backers of the Beaufighter no longer vote?  No, they will still vote, and in theory most of their vote will go to the Me410.  Some will, of course, switch to the Meteor or Yak-3.

I did as a matter of fact switch over to the 410

the one bonus for the yak is that the other variants would surely get updated cockpits, so it is 2 for 1.

Nah, Democracy is fine.  It is just that Democracy is not always the best tool, particularly when it is raw democracy and tyranny of the majority is uninhibited.

Here we won't have that problem entire as HTC limits the choices, in this case by not even including an American aircraft, and by adding things without a vote.
