Heres another example of the silliness of the BF3 flight game. With AH one has a training room where you can pretty much train with anything and never be bothered. With BF3 you can type "practice" into the server window and enter a practice server to at least try and learn to fly with a mouse. However these practice servers have more score padding boneheads in them then players actually practicing. They will spawn camp runways with jets, choppers, or manpads, and pad their scores with easy kills of noobs whom are actually trying to improve their skills. And none of its Policed.
At least with BC2 you could go into empty servers and practice. With BF3 you need at least 7 players to make a server go active.
No Track IR, lousy comms, only a couple jets available "and players have learned how to "game" the use of them already. They have learned to hold down certain keys to always have a jet available.
Even if you want to fly you may never get your hands on a jet in a round anyways.
