The Gypsy Saints
« on: October 29, 2011, 08:10:02 AM »
We've been busy getting this thing off the ground. We play mainly in the Boise, Idaho area, but no doubt we'll be going other places eventually. At this point, the band is close to a year old, and we just now wrapped up getting some demo tunes recorded.

Ken Mansfield (lead guitar guy on the right) pretty well sets the direction for the rest of us.

Our singer, Dave Green. Interesting fellow.. a bit excentric at times, but overall a good guy.

I'm on the keyboards.

Bangin' the drums is my cousin, Ryan Anderson. We almost shared a birthday. Both of us born in January of '73, I beat him by a day. :D

Mr. Greg Tewalt on rythm guitar.

And, Dan Garret on the bass.

We've finally posted our demo tunes on our website, www.gypsysaints.com. They are simply low budget recordings at this point due to money constraints, of course, but it's a start. Thought some folks in the AH community might enjoy a listen. The songs will play automatically as you peruse through the site. Check it out. We're also on Faceboook and Reverbnation. Stop by, say hi, leave a comment or just hit the "like" button.

I'm hoping I can get back into AH after the start of the coming year. I have missed flying with the guys of the 91st & stirring up trouble with our lot of B17 heavies. Cheers, folks.

Thank you.

We'll get to that point eventually when money permits. We'd like to eventually get some better quality recordings made for folks to download.

EDIT: Evidently the man in charge put the demos up for download just now. Go to www.gypsysaints.com and click on "Offerings".

Good deal Egg, oddly enough, just started a band here in 29 palms. We're playing old country, a bit of new country, rebel country and classic/southern rock. Good to see someone else getting it on.

Hope to see ya back fella, good luck with the music thing.

I'm the worst pilot ingame ya know!!!

It's all unrealistic crap requested by people who want pie in the sky actions performed without an understanding of how things work and who can't grasp reality.

sounds really nice, a good change of pace for me. usually im into insane deathmetal where guys are totally murdering their guitars and setting the drums on fire due to the intensity of it.

much better than most of the crap being put out by those massive record companies today.

Thanks, sir. I hope to be back in the game sometime after the start of the new year. Gotta see how things go.

Thanks, Skorp. Yeah, I never could get into the thrash & death metal stuff.. I'm a keyboard guy, and there's not much I can do there. My contribution to these demos was "Easy". I have a thing for composing heart-felt power ballads with hard & soft instrumental harmonies. Probably comes from the 80's teenager in me.
