I wear a bracelet for SSG Melvin Dye.   He was one of four MIA's that were identified last year.   I have located relatives here in Michigan and will hand over my bracelet to them sometime in the Spring.

 :salute Men.  Welcome Home.

Exploded in midair? Enemy fire hit something vital or someone was preping to throw grenade out door and dropped it?

On the grenade thing, I knew a pilot that flew 58's and he said he dropped a grenade after he pulled the pin to throw on the enemy and he said he barely got it out the door when it went off.     :salute    :pray
