Chi-To Type IV was extremely low production and saw no combat as they were saved for the defense of the home islands.

All other Japanese tanks would fair very, very badly in AH.

The Chi-To Type IV wouldn't do very well, but at least it would be somewhat usable.

They didnt "suck".  Ask the Chinese, Koreans, and Commonwealth troops who had to fight them.   ;)

Vs other tanks yeah sure maybe. But generally speaking the Japanese tanks did their job just as they were designed to do: support their infantry in the jungles of the Pacific.  It was when those same Japanese tanks are used against enemy armor they fell short.  They didnt have the armor and didnt have the gun to fend off the Shermans and the hordes of Soviet tanks they faced.

In AH, they would not get very far.  The only place they would be at home is in an EW scenario against other EW tanks of the same caliber, which AH currently has none.  :D

We could get the Japanese Ha-Go tank, so named because when a sherman would come across one,
they just   :lol and drove away.
The Kanonenvogel had 6 rounds per pod, this is not even close to being open for debate.

Japanese armor would be essentially useless untill we got light tanks (and I mean REALLY light tanks) such as the cursader and the BT-7.
