remodel the XVI with a bubble canopy and a merlin 266, then change the name of our current XVI to LF Mk.IX and enable it in MW :aok

No. If it's a bubbletop, it's not a spitfire! Guppy's quoted a couple pilots from WW2 that said the same thing!

Ginger Lacey said that when bubble topped Spitfire Mk XIV's were delivered to his unit in Burma, 1945.  He refused them and they were given to a unit flying war weary Hurricane IICs.  High back Mk XIVs were found for his unit.

+1, because I know it will use used in AH.

Personally I'll stick with the highback 14.

Not worth the time considering how late in the game they arrived, and what little difference it would make visibility wise in Spitfires.  Performance and guns are the same.  As much of a Spitfire fanatic as I am, I'd rather HTC put the time into other birds.

Too few bubble top XIVs ever got involved to make it worth it.

A better wish is for a Spitfire LFIX with the full span Universal wing and Merlin 66 to cover 43-44.  All the parts are already there

Of course a Seafire III would be even better along with my Spitfire XII :)
