I had a brother in law aboard the Eisenhower around that time (Patrick Pisano) an airdale.

My brother was aboard the Nimitz.

We had over 5000 onboard when we had the wings aboard. Could have run into him tho. I was an electrician and my shop handled all the elevators, engine start stations and stuff on the flight deck.

We could use icepac's input in this thread. He told me his Dad appeared in Dogfights and was in Navy intelligence. His mother was CIA.

Thanks everyone for sharing, I truly miss those days I look back and think of all the guys I knew the places we went and the things we did and I'm still proud. I'm even proud of the stupid things we did because it took guts to do the really stupid stuff. :salute
