I to was having issues with crashes, happened a few times in buffs just like the OP stated. Other times i was just sitting the tower, or flying other aircraft. I have always used one sound pack or another, or a mixture of my favs from each. I went back to stock sounds for a couple days, then I started using the AK sound pack put together by Dogg, now I am using TBs soundpack. In my opinion these 2 packs are working flawlessly as I have not had a single crash in over a week. Before I was crashing EVERY single time I played.
Challenge, I personally feel your grievance should have been aired in a more private manner. These guys put in a lot of work so others may get a more realistic, or in some cases a more humorous, experience in game. And it is all pro bono work for the community. So.............

So any word about this bug? Just happened to me again, this time in 24's.  I was gunning from my 3rd drone when it was hit and caught fire.  The instant it blew up, client crashed.  It's happening to people who use the default sounds and to those who use sound packs....

Listen - I just want to fix the bomber bug.  Someone's already posted that they are using stock sounds so that is not the issue.

I'm still trying to isolate this bug so I don't want to lock this thread.
