I'm sick of the whole community hating on me because my idea of fun isn't the same as their's. I can't help thet I hate planes and I can't even describe the frustration of losing the one place that was built for GV's. It was a boneheaded and uncalled for move by the rooks and TT should have been reset by HTC that night. There's no reason what so ever for them to take that island. Why is it so hard to leave the ONE island alone when there's a 150 other bases they could take on that map?
What GNucks said. No one hates you and the crowd on this BBS is far from the whole community. If you hang around long enough, and I hope you do, you'll realize that we all give eachother on here a hard time equally
. For some of us it's a sport I think to flame the new guy..or any guy for that matter. You'll learn in time what you can get away with mentioning on the BBS and what will get you roasted. It's part of the learning curve in AcesHigh2
Now about TT island. There is a large group of players on 3 sides that feel that taking TT is a matter of pride and it gets a heated response from the other 2 countries when it's done. All three countries love to piss each other off and when you posted voicing your POV as a Bishop, that opened the door to rub some salt in your wounds. Believe me, it's nothing personal. They would have done the same to anyone here had they posted what you did. Believe it or not there's quite a few that feel just like you do. What you'll find out is next month or the month after Bishops will do the same thing. or it might be the Knights. Over the weekend the Knights were on a roll taking all the TT bases back. And would have succeeded if not for the map reset. Why the Bishops didn't this time...i have no idea. But they'll get around to it. They always do. Rooks just had the guys to do it this time.
You have a healthy passion for the game that is pretty refreshing to see. My advice to you is learn how to dive bomb or find a good squad that'll help you in goals within the game. Once you get to where you can piss the other guy off...you'll start having alot more fun.
