I disagree strongly.

While historically accurate, what fun is it for some guy in a FW190A8 at 30k, barely able to stay level, trying to engage a bomber stream that in bomber numbers alone out number the defenders? Add another 25+ escorts and it is so lopsided (again while historically accurate) that even scenarios don't try and reproduce this carnage?

well i gotta say del the last MoM the bish attacked (although we used P47Ms against their P47s...) we had 45 pilots shooting at their buffs. that seems about right

In an attempt to bring it back, we did a run last night. Really, it was a lot more about some shoot-'em-up fun than it was about obliterating targets. It definitely was a firefight, even at 25K. I ran out of ammo as I only racked up one kill & got a number of assists. Made for a great time for everyone involved- from the heavies, to the escorts. I hope it was fun for the Rook interceptors as well. Made for a great lengthy battle.

Really, as far as any consequential impact last night, what I observed was negligable. I'm eager to do more of this.
