It was a steak and mushroom pie.  Delicious.  Excellent gravy.  Wonderful, flavorful, flaky crust.  Mmmm.  And tonight, maybe some bangers and mash, or fish and chips and peas.  And a pint.

By the way, for topic police out there, this is all completely on topic, since Aces High is delicious, with excellent gravy, and a wonderful, flavorful (Spitfire pilots might even say "flavourful"), flaky crust.  The pie is clearly a metaphor for the game, with this message board being the analog of one's pie hole, from which can issue much pontification upon grand topics including the psychology of derangement, positive and negative aspects of posting while inebriated, and so on.

peas are the most disgusting thing there is...I would eat grubs before I eat peas

I agree with Ink....all that happens is that you end up chasing the peas around the plate.....total waste of time.   Now baked beans and pie is a different story....

I was tormented by a very viscous stepmom who loved to give me the peas I wouldn't eat at supper...... the next day....

I cant even eat tuna casserole.... even if peas were never in it...I know it comes with peas and....nope ill friggen puke.
