Do you have an external USB hub killer? If so try powering it externally. I just did this on mine and the problem seems to be solved.

Well the problem with that is that I have a MUCH BIGGER power supply for my computer than should be needed. It worked just fine with a 250watt power supply. I upgraded my video card and installed a 520watt power supply. Power shouldnt be an issue. Im thinking its a driver or directory issue but Im not for sure what Im looking at.

The problem is that the power supply - regardless as to its rating - only provides SOME power to the USB.  You could have a 1000 watt power supply and still possibly have USB power issues.  There's also always the possibility of having a defective power supply... yes it happens and yes it's common.

My brother upgraded his video card and power supply (for WoW) to some cheap no-name brand of power supply.  About a month after that his only USB device, an external hard drive quit functioning.  It would work just fine in any other computer but his computer wouldn't even recognize it.  Just to be sure he plugged in a USB mouse and it worked fine.  It drove him nuts for a couple of months as the only way he could access the hard drive was to plug it in to another computer and access it through the network.

Then one day his computer failed completely and the fix was to replace the power supply.  After that his hard drive was working just fine again.

Please Note above link.
It is about same error code, 0xc0000005. Google it.

So far I have gotten this error to stop. I am waiting awhile longer to see if error pops again. If not, I will re-enable the items I disabled, 1 at a time too see which item is issue. These items are listed in a post, in the above thread. I did install the latest DX9.0c update, around same time as well??????????????????

The code is about the system ram allocation. Something is trying to use ram that the game is using, the game is trying to grab ram that is already in use by something else, mem-leak??, maybe something is trying to grab the ram allocated to the video card.
Have you memtested the ram? Maybe you have bad areas in ram that system tries to use.??????
Memtest 86, freeware. W7 memory diagnostics.
I had used nVidia 's Precision app, to deal with vid card's fan speed. It is a real-time monitoring app. I think its this app, personally.

ps that 250W ps was to small. You have a fairly new ATI vid card, that will pull some ac.
