By the time we collide with Andromeda, everyone and everything on this Earth right now would be nothing but recycled atoms. No need to worry about that stuff, not yet anyway.
Don't get me wrong, I love astronomy and the idea of future/outer space things, but to worry about things so far/long away doesn't make sense to me. But it's still cool to think about.
Now, devising an easy space traveling technique or new technology or even setting foot on Mars, that stuff gets me intrigued. Let's start small and work our way out of the solar system first.
Then comes Proxima Centauri and nearby planets, then the whole of the Milky Way, Andromeda, then the universe.
if only I could live to see the day we set foot on Andromeda.
