We now have 2 fantastic terrains. Lets can the old 2 (for a while at least) and just use Mindanao and the Baltic terrains.

Flew in the Mindanao terrain last night! Was beautiful. I third ATC's request. Retire the old maps for a few months. Use just the Baltic and Mindinao for right now.

I can do without ndisles, but I rather like the uterus. Mindanao fields are way too damn close to each other. I haven't flown the Baltic terrain though. Bring back the beta terrain!

Kudos to HTC on Mindanao, it's a thrill to fight in those mountain valleys. ATC's idea gets my vote.

I agree with Westy..Rotate the two new maps,and bring back the island map when it's bigger and has center island Fightertown..Now that would add spice to AH!

Just to add my 2 pennies, I think Mindanao is simply awesome, but I'd still like to see the Pac and Uterus terrain in the rotation. Hell, I'd like to see the Beta map in there too!

Yep, I'd like to see more of the new terrains now, and bring the old ones back in a few months.

SirLoin brings up an old issue that might need more consideration. Since we now have a new terrain every reset, it might be the perfect time to put a Fightertown area in *one* terrain. That way, we get to try it out, but only every once in awhile. And if the strat guys don't like it, all they have to do is simply force a reset.

Anyway, I'm bored to tears of arena play.

I love the ndisles terrain mostly because I spent a hell of a lot of time documenting the facts about each base e.g. altitude, direction for bomber takeoffs so you don't smack the mountain at the end etc. And also because when you fly a mission in that terrain you actually get the impression of flying over a distance. In any case give us whatever terrain you want but also give us the most rudimentary navigation tools e.g. a way to know course and distance at a glance between any two points. The aspect of planning how long a mission will take, how long it will take to get to altitude and where you will meet your escorts are all important factors to a war simulator which can't be accomplished without the tools I refer to.
