Wow some sweet cars great find. I have always had this feeling to not like Mustangs for some reason not sure why. With all thing mustang talk on the forum with CAP I am starting to get a liking towards them.
dud.....i gotta say.......when i walk out to my garage in the morning, i'm staring down the snout of one of the most beautiful affordable hot rods on the road today.
at work, i park her out in the corner of the lot, by herself. whenever i look out through the bay doors, i can't help but stare at her for a couple of seconds.
when i park her in the garage at night, i cannot take my eyes off of her till the door's all the way down.
unlike about 80% of the cars on the road, she's got original styling, along with plenty of retro styling. you can see the ques all over her. from the 67 gt style grille, to the quarter panel lines, from the 68 qued instrument cluster to the glare shield, it is painfully obvious.
put the key in the ignition, turn it, and listen to her purr to life. she only purrs, as her and i both know what she's got. she doesn't have to growl, or roar to prove anything.
for the $34k you can pick up a nicely equipped gt for, there is literally nothing brand new in her price range that can or will touch her. nothing. she runs with much higher priced cars. there is no better "bang for the buck" right now, than a brand new mustang gt. i don't say that because i like fords(i figured that's pretty obvious already), but rather because it is the truth. i think even shuffler would have to admit that.
virtually everyone i know(even my diehard chevy friends) say the same thing. hell....the mechanic across the street, who's building the crap outta his 1 series beemer says that. he bought the beemer, 'cause he's got a family. he also works on his buddys 5 series, that they've done a ton of work to, and it only runs 12's.
anyway....'nuff ranting.
