they just started that here back in the summer i think. owner of the feed store was telling me the same thing. he makes very lttle profit and has to pass those costs unto customers. getting hard to do when ya have to compete with Walmart and the likes. I never understood why the owner of the card doesn't have to pay the fee instead. I pay for the costs of the checks that I write. Just don't make sense to me .......
well with regular credit cards, we
both pay. you in the form of interest, if you carry any balance, and me in the fees.
i managed to trim the bill by about $20 last month. i'm hoping to trim it a little more this month...... it was funny, 'cause the bank teller mentioned that she was surprised to see me with cash. i told her the same thing i previously mentioned.
and yes, we do pass those costs on to our customers. we have no choice. costs keep going up, so we have to do something.
