joining a bomber crew

Hi all, I'm a new player. Have not played a sim since AW ended. My saitek AV8R arrived yesterday, and Iv'e spent hours making a fighter profile.

Anyway my current question is: Is it possible to crew a bomber or join a bomber as a gunner in this game? If not I will have to set-up a bomber profile.

Yes it is. A player flying a bomber (or a formation of) can take one gunner.
You join either by using the dot command .join playername or by going to the hangar and using the "join" button. But note that it's reckoned to be rude if you do so before having asked for the other player's permission.


However, most bomber pilots prefer to gun themselves. You may consider flying your own bombers when you can't find anyone in need of a gunner.

When Lusche says go in the hanger he means check the roster for a players name and right click the name,a new window will open with the join option,also has tune to and squelch!






   
 PS: always ask first as the join message can block a players view!
