For the record, I am no longer surprised why few agree on flight modeling in Aces High. This group even argues about fictitious planes/ships/vessels from a TV show!  :D

And they take it way way too seriously.

The SFX model used for the larger cruiser-scale Bird of Prey was the same one used for Kruge's scout in III (they broke the mechanism that allowed the wing position to change, however) so outwardly the only difference between the two was size.

Hah, that's cool Sax, I'd never heard about that before.  The ships I was talking about appear much later in Star Trek Canon, around Deep Space 9 time.  B'rel-class and the K'Vort-class are the 2 classes of Bird's of Prey I was talking about, the B'Rel being the one with a small hull and tiny crew.  Did you know Leonard Nemoy was one of the designers and did much of the art work for these ships?   You have to respect an actor's commitment to his work when his hobby is designing stuff the r@d guys in the art department should be doing.

Oh and laugh out louds at the gym pic of Mulgren/Shatner/Stewart.  Man is Patrick Stewart RIPPED for being 70ish.  "If it's not Scottish, IT'S CRAP!!!"
