Damage from Friendly AA
« on: December 20, 2011, 03:15:30 PM »
After some of the current posts, I have to ask for this.

I've seen many a friendly chase and enemy through the hail of friendly AA, and not have to worry about the consiquences of getting hit. I may be a little behind the 8 ball here, but after my few years of playing, i haven't seen a friendly go down after flying through active friendly AA. Could this just have been luck?  :headscratch:

My A6M3 was killed by a flak burst from a carrier today.  I suspect it was from a manned gun as I was tight in with a C.205 and B-26.  The burst was right over my cockpit and was the last thing I saw before I was in the tower.

Karnak: Could the explosion of the enemy plane knocked you down, or perhaps wreckage?

Exploding objects can not damage anything. And as far as wreckage goes: only the part with the pilot still attached to it (fuselage) can, but you will get a collision message.
