Not sure I understand why the squad is going away. From reading through the posts a few members still exists . I don't think it helps to disband. The 113th Lucky Strikes has been here for 10 years. We have had our up and down cycles like everyone. We changed CO's a few times along the way. There are times when it was down to just two active members. We only fly as a squad once a week and understand that real life comes first. That said we are building up and welcome all to come fly with the 113th, we only fly as Knights in the late war arena, we fly all the P38's in fighter or attack mode, we welcome any and everyone to come wing up for a flight or two, perhaps an hour or evening of fun. im rarely online, our XO is inactive, another player is now going into A/C engineering for college, two others dont make it online, another is having monetary issues and dealing with real life, two others play whenever they can but also do not play actively, the rest of the list are inactive/old accounts.
and melvin doesnt get it that the 20th is gone but we're trying to reserve the name for a later date months or years down the road to bring it back. all our members agree that the squad's done. i know of at least one player from the actives now trying the solo road. im figuring out what to do myself.
