I wasn't even going to say anything about that.  I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

You do realize that those are the only ones that appeal to me. i've listen to plenty of their other songs.

I doubt it, because you mentioned Disturbed in this thread.....

Ronnie James Dio frowns upon any trash talking of any heavy metal bands or their music.

Be wary of what you say or who or what you bad mouth, or else Dio just may force you to listen to Bieber as you rot in Hell for ETERNITY!!!!   :devil

This is all well and good, except that Disturbed is not metal.

Metalica = fail

 :aok  Absolutely......    :aok

And on top of that, I'll say pretty much anything on the FM dial=FAIL as well....

A grand majority of rock, pop, country, etc. is dumbed down so the average listener doesn't have to spend a lot of time thinking about the music..  The catchy and ever repeating phrases are all that matter to most people..  Anything more complex than that, and the it looses the typical listener's attention..  The lyrics are all cliche..  I swear, there isn't any mainstream artist in the last 10-15 years that's done anything for my listening pleasure..  I wish it was still the 60's and 70's where mainstream was actually kick-arse..  Zeppelin, Sabbath, Uriah Heap, Blue Cheer, Deep Purple, **early** Judas Priest..  That stuff was and still is awesome..  The mainstream crap out there being constantly overplayed on the radio 24 hours a day is garbage..  GARBAGE!!  JUNK!!  COMMERCIAL TOILET MATTER!!
Thank you.

 And Merry Christmas...   :D

Nostalgic nonsense with a smattering of thruthiness.

 And Merry Christmas...   :D

Find me the FM radio station that plays a healthy rotation of early Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Anthrax, Slayer, Overkill, etc.

Oh wait, these don't exist in most markets. If at all.

While the members of Metallica have certainly reached the level of "epic fail" due to their acting like a bunch of spoiled women, to deny the early stuff is to deny rock altogether.

Not many "cliche" lyrics on the Kill 'Em All album. Of course many who disagree have never bothered to listen to it.

Oh well.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

  :salute

EDIT: Almost forgot to leave you with a taste of greatness.
