Christmas Cheer
« on: December 23, 2011, 06:58:11 AM »
I would like to share an experience with you all, about drinking and driving, especially during the coming Christmas season.

As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from a little too much social drinking over the years.

A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends and had a few too many cocktails. Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before - I took a bus home.

I arrived home safely and without incident, which was a real surprise, as I have never driven a bus before and am not sure where I got this one.

Merry Christmas to all!   :aok

Wait...

So you were drunk, DIDN'T drive your car, but instead opted for a bus? :headscratch:

Just curious, did you, for a moment, hear a rushing sound go past and above you?   :D

Good one sir  :lol

On a serious side, I have been on the other end of things for the "partiers" and I have no compassion for anyone who has been drinking and driving. I am sorry but that is my opinion, I do drink but I have a rule, I have one drink I don't drive at all.

So please remember this this festive season you may not kill yourself but think about the "other" people out there.

Stay Safe and Happy Holidays.
