it isnt?

It's disputed. They may have used the propeller story as a marketing tool in the '20s and '30s, but originally its the checkered white/blue Bavarian flag on a roundel.

I just checked the Wikipedia page for Combat flight simulator and here's what it listed:Where is Air Warrior? Where is Warbirds?
This is why you should never trust Wikipedia.

name one source that is 100% reliable.  what you forget is history is made up of whatever the writer chooses it to be.

you can quote original manuals about ww2 airplanes and then quote pilots saying the manual's were wrong.  when you read wikipedia look at the bottom and you will see a bunch of references that were used to create that article.  it's a work in progress and it will never be 100% accurate, just like none of the others are.

As stated before, you are like most politicians...you only read what you want to read... The sentence right before states this:

Quote
Historical

There are simulators for most modern periods and wars, including the following:

Including means just that, including but not limited to.

The fact is that if you want basic information and understanding of a subject, I would point you to wikipedia. Wikipedia is a FANTASTIC source, and wealth, of information that is conveniently stored in one area of the internet.

I bet you 9 times out of 10, when you search for a particular subject you go to Wikipedia first...you want an overview of the subject and, more often than not, wikipedia is pretty spot on with its' articles. If you want more in-depth knowledge on the subject, then it is up to you to choose your own sources.

You have to take Wikipedia with a grain of salt, but the fact is this; Wikipedia is the most up-to-date, accurate forum of information you will find on the internet.
It is 2 Cents or .02 Dollars...NOT .02 Cents!

Why isn't Aces high listed on SIMHQ.com? Is it because we are a game or because HTC wont let it or SIMHQ doesn't see us as a sim? Does WIKI ever really get looked at as a search engine anyway?

Yeah, it's not a coincidence that the Bavarian Motor Works uses a bavarian flag as their logo.

If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.
