Also, excellent finds on the paintings as part of the promo.  Very nice!  <S>

there were no LA5s during the initial stages of barbarossa yah?  So if you are gonna let LA5s in, then why not g2/g6s?

seems awfully skewed to the allies to me.

The Its there only at one base the 109Fs are holding their own. Its playing balanced. Its not skewed no worries. As we approach 1943, later in the week, more state of the art aircraft will arrive. At this point its early moving to mid... Give it a try :)

Good idea but the plane set is all wrong. There is not such thing as a balance in Barbarossa 1941. Luftwaffe has a strong superiority because of the bf109Fs.
The ground war is different as t-34-76 is far superior to early war PanzerIV.

So:
Luftwaffer : Bf-109F, Bf-109E, Ju-87, Ju-88
VVS: I-16

The Task of the Luftwaffe is to gain air superiority and with the help of dive bombers destroy t-34s from air.
The task of VVS is to try to defend their tank groups.

We kind of lack the early war plane sets, throw in a LAGG-3 and Pe-2 and it would be interesting.

After the He-111 of course.

Raven did a good job with the planeset available to us.  It's a fun setup on a new terrain & we invite you all to stop in.  Don't knock it til you try it.
